Chair of Psychology (Prof. Dr. Hugo M. Kehr)
The Chair of psychology is part of the business faculty at the TUM (TUM Business School). Here, research focuses on two main topics: motivation and leadership as well as innovation research. Currently the Chair of Psychology deals with various use-oriented research projects and some of them are:
- NaNu!: Advancement of sustained consumption by integrating users in innovation (BMBF)
- Motive congruency and its impact on the flow- experience
- The meaning of implicit knowledge in the product innovation process; Supported by: Volkswagen-Stiftung.
- Conditions for creative work design in business life; Supported by: Bundesanstalt für Arbeitsschutz und Arbeitsmedizin (BAuA).
- Indicators of the human resources sponsership in businesses at the financial market and the capital market (HUMIND); Fostered by: Bundesanstalt für Arbeitsschutz und Arbeitsmedizin (BAuA).
- Leadership and telecommuting; supported by: own resources, in collaboration with the Bayerischen Staatsministerium für Finanzen and the Oberfinanzdirektionen München and Nürnberg.
- Meaning and mechanism of actions of business visions for intrinsic motivation, creativity and innovation(DFG-project application in preparation).
Prof. Dr. Hugo M. Kehr holds the Chair of Psychology at the business faculty at the TUM since 2006. His main research interests are motivation, volition and self-regulation.

Chair of Informatics XI (Prof. Dr. Johann Schlichter):
The Chair of Applied Informatics / Cooperative Systems deals with problems and requirements as well as with the conceptualization and realization of distributed IT sytems. These systems are characterized by context awareness and they help to support people in distributed environments to interact and cooperate. The research activities are divides into 5 areas:
- Mobile, context aware information and ccoperation systems (e.g. in vehicles),
- Social Software, Groupware and Community-Support Systems,
- Distrebuted knowledge management by useing Semantic Web technologies,
- Web-applications and web-services
- Multimedial Teleteaching environments.
There are already various dissertations and projects with our academic partners and our business partners in this areas, e.g.:

- Cosmos (Community Online Services and Mobile Solutions) – Architectures and applications for mobile Community-Support.
